Donald Emmett "Duck" Henderson, 57, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away March 20, 2015, at his home in Hampton, Iowa. He was born January 30, 1958, in Hampton, Iowa, to Emmett and Dorothy (Lursen) Henderson. Don graduated from Hampton High School in 1976. He owned and operated Duck's Bar & Grill in Aredale, Iowa. Don was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton, Iowa and Pheasants Forever. Don enjoyed spending time with his family, jet skiing, four wheeling, and going on vacation. He was also involved in Hampton Youth Baseball Program as a coach and umpire. One of Don's hobbies was buying houses and fixing them up. Duck always enjoyed visiting with his customers at Duck's Bar & Grill. He is survived by his life-long friend Michael Ellingson of Hampton, brother Randy (Debi) Henderson of Litchfield Park, Arizona, brother Leslie Henderson of Des Moines, brother Ron (Chuck) Henderson of Las Vegas, Nevada, sister Sheri (Bill) Roberts of Mitchellville, sister Sharon (Lance) Henderson of Las Vegas, Nevada, brother David (Jeanne) Henderson of Altoona, eleven nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.
