nson County Courthouse and both offices enjoyed her scrumptious cakes and cookies! Dee and Bill were active members of the United Methodist Church of Spirit Lake since 1952. Her spiritual gifts were consummated every day as wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, hostess, Sunday school teacher, circle and 4-H leader and so much more.... Dee will be dearly missed by her children: John H. May (wife Nancy), Barbara J. May (grand dog, Bella), Kenneth E. May (wife Bonnie): four grandchildren, Brenda (Randy) Lubenow, Dawn (Shawn) Wiederhoeft, William May, Lindzee May and 6 great-grandchildren, Bailey and Kori Schwichtenberg, Ethan & Emily Lubenow and Cooper and Amelia Wiederhoeft. Virtually, all cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintance thought of the house at the farm as their home, also, they were ALWAYS welcomed there, with or without reservations! Preceding her in death were her parents; the apple of her eye, her husband Bill, all her brother-in laws; one sister-in-law; and one grandson, Nathan Jon May. A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at the Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery. The Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
