layed for many weddings in the Webster City area, when ever needed for her musical talent, Myra was there. She was an outstanding supporter of Iowa Central Community College, she was a board member of the Van Diest Medical Center and was very much a part of her church, but was also very supportive of all of Webster City's church's with her music. Myra Ann Graves, daughter of Archie and Thelma Scoby Graves, was born December 9, 1946 at Des Moines. She received her education in the Fort Dodge schools, graduating from Fort Dodge high school in 1965. She attended Iowa Central Community College and University Northern Iowa receiving her Masters in Business Education in 1970. She later moved to Webster City. Myra had been an I.C.C.C. instructor for 40 years in the Business - Office Education department. On November 19, 1983, she married Max Donald Maxon at the First Baptist Church in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City. Mr. Maxon died April 9, 1996. Myra is survived by step-children, Alan and Jan Maxon and Laraine Crawford, all of Webster City; Martha and John West of Minburn; seven step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, T. Rae Graves. Myra enjoyed her fishing trips to Minnesota, Van Diest Supply trips, playing cards, Music, PEOPLE, pets and her church family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational - U.C.C. with Rev. Craig Blaufuss officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015
