Anthony J Seubert

Anthony J. Seubert 91, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away on March 23, 2015. Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1923 to Anthony and Catherine (Bach) Seubert. He was a WWII Navy submarine veteran. He was with the NYC Police Department for 34 years, retiring a a Sergeant of Detectives. Upon retiring, he moved to Florida, where he practiced as a Registered Nurse at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. On February 25, 1945 he married Jeanne Basaman in NY. They had six children; Anthony, Charles, Madelyn, Harry, Tina Marie, and John. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne, and his son, John. Survivors include five children, 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Anthony loved boating, fishing, fixing things, reading and crossword puzzles. A viewing will be held at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home, Davie, Wednesday, March 25, from 6-9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday 11:30am at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, followed by a burial at Southern Memorial Park.[more]
