Mark Steven Kohlmeyer, 58, passed away from ongoing health issues in his home on February 24, 2015. He was born in Milwaukee in 1956 where he lived most of his life and was the youngest of four children.
Following in the footsteps of his father and brothers, Mark joined the armed forces at the age of 18, serving in the 6th Fleet of the U.S. Navy on the US Sierra. During his service he saw the world, developed lifelong friendships and met his future wife. Upon marrying Linda he became the father of Brandon and Courtney and was later blessed with son, Luke.
Mark was an avid sports fan, a long-time hunter and fisherman and frequent talk show listener. He will be remembered fondly as a proud, strong-willed man notorious for his long drives in the parkway and wildlife-themed shirts.
Preceded in death by his brother Wayne. Son of Cliff and Marlene Kohlmeyer and Alva Durkee. Former husband and friend of Linda Miller. Loving father of Lucas Kohlmeyer, Brandon (Rebecca) Kritzman and Courtney (Ryan) Van De Burg. Proud grandfather of Jacqui, Caden, Ana, Brooke, Bella, Grace, Laney and Ali.
