Minera(Nee) Butler- Saunders, 62, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Stuart F. Meyers Hospice House, surrounded by her loving children and siblings following a short term illness.
Minera was born in Nassau, Bahamas on March 4, 1953, daughter of Priscilla Burrows and Peter Butler. She started working for Bahamas world airlines in 1973 until 1974. During her brief career as a flight attendant she traveled all over the world. In 1974, she came to the United States, and settled in Miami, Florida. She started her career with Dade County in 1976 with the Police Department. In 1985, she transferred to the Traffic Control Center, where she remained until her retirement in 2003.
At the time of her passing, she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and Facebook family.
