y, Nathan Baker of Burlington, and Rick (Renee) Baker of Sperry; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie (John) McDowell of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Ervin (Dorothy) Baker of Sperry, and Dee (Katherine) Baker of Acton, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one sister Murial Watkins, two grandsons Corey Baker and Seth Baker, and son-in-law Larry Stewart. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Elliott Chapel, New London. Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Private family inurnment will be in Trinity Cemetery, rural Mt. Union. According to Mr. Baker's wishes, his body has been cremated. Visitation will begin after 9:00 AM Thursday morning at the Chapel, and the family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. A memorial has been established to the Yarmouth Fire Department and to Prairie Ridge Care and Rehab Center.
