s) and Wisconsin Employers Group in Green Bay, WI. In September of 1951, Jacque married the first love of his life, Violet Garbisch at the Ev. Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI. Deeply in love, each Friday, for 46 years, Jacque brought Violet a single rose as a sign of their love and his devotion. Together they had one daughter and lived in Milwaukee, Shorewood, Green Bay, and De Pere, WI. Jacque's hobbies included many. He grew apple trees, sharing their fruit with neighbors, anxiously awaited Spring asparagus, nurtured his Rose garden and enjoyed the thrill of winning at Friday night Sheepshead. He was passionate about reading every day, favoring Cowboy and History books. After the death of his beloved wife, he met his best friend, Grace, and at the age of 79 he took up golf, bowling, traveling, and purchased a winter get away in Estero Florida. Laughter and good times followed. Jacque was blessed with one daughter, Nancy Schwenke, son-in-law, Dennis Schwenke, and his only and favorite grandson, Shannon Walter. While his immediate family was small, the love and caring was huge. Jacque was thankful for every day together and for their care and companionship. He was so proud of his Grandson and his achievements. He beamed when sharing stories about all of them. Jacque is further survived by his sister-in-law, Carol Garbisch; brothers-in-law, Arden Hinklemann and Vernon (Darlene) Garbisch; nephew, Robert Kuester; best friend, Grace Albers and her family; and many other nieces and nephews. Jacque's faith has been a keystone in life. He served as an usher, councilman, and contributing member at Kingo Lutheran Church in Shorewood, and Grace Lutheran, St. John's Lutheran, and Peace Lutheran in Green Bay. Family and friends may call Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1954 County Road U, Green Bay, from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am with Pastor Stuart Dornfeld officiating and military honors immediately following. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park in the Field of Honor. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jeremy Green, Dr. David Thompson, Pastor Don Behrendt, Pastor Stuart Dornfeld, Nurse Marsha Mueller, and his De Pere neighbors who faithfully assisted Jacque and his family for many years. We are blessed. Thank you.
