Brandon J. Smith

Brandon Jeffrey Smith, son of Jeffrey Todd Esaias and Amy Elizabeth (Smith) Edgar, was born on January 18, 1994 at Clarinda, Iowa. He was unexpectedly taken from this earthly world to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 13, 2015 following an automobile accident near Grenora, North Dakota at the age of 21 years, 4 months, 26 days. His early life was spent growing up in Mound City, Missouri before moving to Washington, Kansas and in 2006, to Greenleaf, Kansas. Brandon attended Washington County High School, graduating with the Class of 2012. In August of 2014 Brandon began working with Triple S Enterprises in the oil pipeline industry. He was currently employed with Triple S and working in North Dakota. Brandon loved people and he cherished spending time with his family and friends whenever possible. He was known for being a caring, do-anything-for-you, type person who was always thinking of others. Preceding Brandon in death was his maternal grandfather, Ronald Lee. Also surviving are his grandparents, Bonnie Franks of Fairfax, MO and Marlin and Velma Smith of Red Oak, IA; aunt, Tracy Smith of Shenandoah, IA; uncle, Levi Smith of Essex, IA; three cousins, Amanda Mather and husband Mike of Northboro and their daughter, Genevieve, Elizabeth Welke and husband Brian of Washington, DC, and Allison Smith of Essex, IA; two precious nieces, Annabelle and Isabelle Martin, daughters of Morgan Smith and Johnnie Martin; other relatives and many friends. Memorials are being directed to the Brandon Smith Memorial Fund. Burial will in the Essex Cemetery.
