Antoinette R. Rogers

ANTOINETTE ROGERS MUSCATINE, Iowa - Antoinette R. Rogers, 59, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, at her home. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Antoinette was born on June 30, 1955, in Kenel, South Dakota, the daughter of Raymond Summers and Wilma Little Bear. She married Rodney Rogers in August of 2004, in Muscatine. She is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Standing Rock Tribe in Yankton, South Dakota. She also taught school. She loved to cook, fish, and working in both her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved to ride horses, do bead working and quilting, but most of all she loved the outdoors. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Rodney Rogers of Muscatine; her children, Gary Holladay, Anthony Martin, Troy Martin, Joe Martin, and Gabriel Martin; her step-children, Samantha Martin, Chelsea Picotte, Stephanie Picotte, Rodney Little Bear, Elliott Little Bear, Donna Peasant, Randy Rogers, and Richie Rogers; and one sister, Elizabeth Cleo Schlepp. She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter in infancy.
