Ronald Joseph Horvath, M.D. - "Ronny Joe", was born the son of a coalminer in Beaverdale, Pennsylvania to Elizabeth & Joseph Horvath in August of 1938. His surviving blood kin include his sisters Gretchen and Barbara, his daughter Stacia and his grandson Emmanuel.
Ron graduated Cum Laude from Notre Dame, went on to achieve a Medical Degree from Jefferson, married Maureen Kathleen Mullen - his one true wife who precedes him on his Heavenly journey by 42 years.
In 2000, Ron published a political satire titled Common Sense Too, his Magnus Opus, under the pen name of Thomas J. Pain. He also served in Vietnam and later with Orthopedics Overseas, where he helped build medical facilities along the Khyber Pass during the Russian/Afghani war.
No services will be held, according to his will, but his slightly rebellious daughter will host visiting hours on Monday, June 22nd between 5:00 and 7:00PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike in Ambler, PA.
