Sidney Itzkowitz

On Saturday July 4, 2015, Sidney Itzkowitz, age 86, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Pembroke Pines. Born in The Bronx, New York, Mr. Itzkowitz served with honor in the Army during WW II too include being part of the occupying force in Japan. Upon his return he married his surviving wife of 58 years, Theresa Itzkowitz. He is also survived by his two loving daughters, Leda Itzkowitz of Hollywood, FL and Gina Leary (Matthew) of Davie, FL. Brother, Manny Itzkowitz (Florence) and three dear grandchildren, Angelina, Anthony and Matthew. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Home, 6301 Taft St. Hollywood, FL 33024. A Service to Celebrate the life of Mr. Itzkowitz will commence at 4:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests expressions of sympathy be made in Memory of Mr. Itzkowitz to the Alexander "Sandy" Nininger State Veterans Home, 8401 W Cypress Dr. Pembroke Pines, FL 33025[more]
