Sandra Lynn Larsen, 71, of Davenport, Iowa, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning, July 12, 2015, in Delmar, Iowa. A memorial gathering of family and friends celebrating Sandra's life will be held from 4 to 7 P.M., Thursday, July 23, 2015, at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club, 4401 W. Locust St., Davenport, Iowa. A Natural Journey Farewell with cremation has taken place. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family. Sandra Lynn Tripp was born on July 3, 1944 in Davenport, Iowa, to Richard Edward and Betty Marietta (Burkhart) Tripp. She was a 1962 graduate of Davenport West High School. She married Harvey George Larsen on April 2, 1966 in Rock Island, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2015. Sandra was retired and had worked as a Unit Assistant at Genesis Medical Center for over ten years. Sandra liked crocheting, watching the television show "Survivor", and reading. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and her dog Chloe.
