Alvin Carl Krueger age 94 of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born on November 15, 1920, in Oconto Falls, to the late Julius and Amalia (Reinert) Krueger. Al graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1939. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was a member of the 431st Bomb Squad at Pearl Harbor and was stationed at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. He also served in the Central Pacific, New Guinea, Northern Solomon, Western Bismarck, and Southern Philippines. Al was a member of VFW Post #7534 in Duck Creek.
Al married the love of his life, Kathleen Grunst on June 13, 1952, in Dubuque, Iowa. They loved traveling the world together until Kay passed away on March 3, 1984. Al's last years were spent at the King Veteran's Home.
Survivors include his brothers, Ken (Gloria) and Rodney Krueger, and many nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his wife Kay; his parents, Julius and Amalia; and brother, Arthur (Eileen) Krueger.
