Maria del Carmen Capo was born October 4, 1927 in Cuba, the daughter of Jesus Morales and Dulce Sanchez. She was a resident of South Florida for 41 years. Maria was a long time member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Plantation. She worked for Sears & Roebuck in Havana, Cuba, Newark, NJ., and Miami and retired after 25 years.
Those who will cherish her memory are her two children; Ruth Tickle and Edwin ( Isabel ) Ruiz. Step-children, Alex ( Janet ) Capo, Peter Capo, Michael (Lori) Capo, Richard (Migale) Capo, Robert ( Rosalie ) Capo. Grandchildren, Alina Ruiz, Nicole Foley, Madeline Capo, Jessica Capo, Melanie Capo, Brandon Capo, Zachary Capo and Caroline Capo. Two brothers and a sister, Herminio Morales, Jesse Morales and Dulce Pasqual.
Maria was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Alejandro A. Capo, M.D. and Jose Joaquin Ruiz.
