Anna F. George

Anna F. George, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Mt. Healthy Christian Village on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM. She was born in Lancaster, Kentucky on September 28, 1925 the daughter of Harold and Grace (Estes) Hurt. Anna was a member of North Seventh Street Church of Christ, West Side Church of Christ, and volunteered at Fort Hamilton Hospital for five years. On August 9, 1941 in Hamilton she married Floyd C. George and he preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by four children, Dennis (Susan) George of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Melinda (LeRoy) Singleton of Hamilton, Patty (Kenneth) Griessmann of Hamilton, and Sharon (William) Beals of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Deanna, David, Chris, Daniel, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Mary; and five great-grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Clint, Carlee, and Drake. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Botner. Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Healthy Christian Benevolent Fund. The family would like to extend a thank you to the Mt.
