Charlene B. Comstock

Mrs. Charlene B. Comstock, 85 of Seymour, formerly of North Vernon, passed away August 12, 2015, under the wonderful care of the staff at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, Indiana. Born September 4, 1929, in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Thomas and Zible René (Wright) Swinehart. On June 13, 1948, in Shelbyville, Indiana, she married Roland Comstock, Jr. who preceded her March 13, 2009. Charlene was a member of Assembly of God Church in North Vernon, IN. She was employed as a medical receptionist. Charlene was active in the Republican Party of Jennings County, a member of Delta Theta Tau of Jennings County and the American Button Society. She is survived by her son, Thomas Gregory (Debbie) Comstock, grandchild, Matthew (Misti) Findley, great-grandchildren, Aleia, Mattie, and Mollie Findley, and step great-grandson, Jacob Stark. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Charlene Zee Comstock. A Memorial Service will be conducted by the family at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Voss Chapel.
