"Jeff" age 90 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away peacefully with family on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in East Bernstadt, Kentucky on September 21, 1924, the son of Andrew and Barbara (Philpot) Barnett. He was a veteran of the United States Marines having served during WWII. On September 9, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio he married Thelma L. Keeton and she preceded him in death on October 2, 2009. Mr. Barnett retired from General Motors Norwood Plant. Survivors include eight children, Linda (Paul) Webb, Beverly (Timothy) Crist, Kathie Bowling, Michael (Joyce) Barnett, Deborah (Ron) Kuhn, Jeffrey (Geralyn) Barnett, Joyce (Tom) Berrier, and Judy (George) Doutre; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Barnett; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Hamilton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave with Pastor Brian Buriff officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
