Ronald Britten

McFarland- Ronald Britten, age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Skaalen Nursing and Rehabilitation, where he resided for the last 6 years. He was born in Eau Claire on August 3, 1937, the only son of Donald and Noreen Britten. Ron worked for Western Electric until his retirement. On January 30, 1960 he married Karen Schlueter. Ron is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen; son, Brian (Pamela); daughter, Dawn Holmes (Joe); four grandchildren, Katelyn (fiancé, Scott) Britten, Austin Britten, Ashley (Richard) Bong, and Michael Holmes; and two great grandchildren, Jaylinn and Liam Bong. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Linn. Per Ron's wishes there will be no services. A special thank you to the staff on 6th floor at Skaalen Nursing and Rehab.
