Brent Jack, 46 of Emerson, IA, died in a vehicle accident near Hastings, IA on August 28, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood, IA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Memorials are directed to his mother, Janis Jack. Brent Allen Jack, one of six children of Harold Eugene and Janis Marie (Andrews) Jack, was born on November 12, 1968 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He attended school at Nishna Valley and Glenwood. Brent worked various jobs, from welding to construction, and was employed for 8 years at Siebert Mobility. Brent and Teresa Olson were married on July 17, 1987 in Glenwood, Iowa. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Jessica, Ashley, Patrick and Megan. Brent loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing and has a record catfish he caught listed by the State of Iowa. Brent died in a vehicle accident on US Highway 34 near Hastings, Iowa on August 28, 2015, at the age of 46 years, 9 months, and 16 days and was preceded in death by his father Harold Jack in 2013. Brent is survived by his wife Teresa Jack of Emerson, IA; children, Jessica Watson and husband Jason of Malvern, IA, Ashley Jack of Clarinda, IA, and Patrick Jack and Megan Jack, both of Emerson; six grandchildren; mother Janis Jack of Glenwood; siblings, Rory Jack and Chris Jack of Glenwood, Lorrie Dame' and husband William of Fairview Heights, IL, Lisa Pollina and husband Joseph of Columbus, OH, and Amy Martin of Glenwood; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
