Earl "Buck" Jones Jr.

Earl S. "Buck" Jones Jr., 89, passed away on August 29, 2015, in Mesa, AZ. He was born on June 25, 1926, in Green Bay, WI, to the late Earl Sr. & Wilhelmina Jones. Buck was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He married Loretta Anderson on August 30, 1947, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2001. Buck was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, a member of the Beja Shriners, where he proudly served as a Shrine Clown for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. He was also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks. Buck was a proud owner and operator of Jones Transfer & Warehouse. He spent many summers in Door County and wintered in Mesa, AZ. He was a loving husband to Loretta for 54 years; father to Cathy Borlee, Cindy (Gary) Gerbers, Bobbi (Wayne) Hoida and Carrie (Gene) Schenkelberg; grandfather to twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
