William D. Mandeville Jr., of Fort Lauderdale, born 1947 to Rhea D. Rifenburgh and William D. Mandeville Sr. in Fort Lauderdale went to be with his Lord on August 31, 2015. Mandeville, a proud graduate of the University of Florida, retired in 2012 from Delta Airlines. He loved all sports and found great joy in playing golf, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lynn, daughters Laura Minor, of Fort Laud. and Leslie Mandeville, of Houston, sons in law, Charlie Minor and Stephen Pomaski. 8 grandchildren - William, John Charles and Robert Minor and Taylor, Nicholas, Bethany, Chandler and Brooke Pomaski; his mother, Rhea, of Fort Lauderdale and sisters, Nancy Tisdall, of Texas and Sandy Taylor, of Utah; his nephews - Alec, Scott, and Brian Tisdall, AJ Critchlow and niece, Regan Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 100 SE 3rd Ave Ft. Laud on Saturday, Sept 12 at 10:30 AM.
