Randall Lee Fields, 65, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015, in Chamberlain, South Dakota, from a heart attack. He was born in Columbus, Indiana, on May 15, 1950, to Carles and Pauline (Roache) Fields. Randy served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was joined in marriage to Shirley Lumley on February 25, 1972. Together they had four children, Christopher, Jesse, Jason and Chasity. Randy was a roofer, mechanic, wrecker operator and semi driver. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Randy is survived by his wife Shirley Fields of Hampton; four children Christopher (Sarah) Fields of Clarion, Jesse Fields of Hampton, Jason Fields of Hampton, and Chasity Fields of Sumner; seven grandchildren Kaitlynn, Zachery, Sierra, Dakota, Dominick, Tiffany and Alex; one brother Fred (Sharon) Fields of Ohio; three sisters Pam (Pat) Taylor of Kentucky, Lora (Leeroy) Bodecker of Hampton, and Lida (James) Acree of Geneva; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Carles and Pauline, and sister Wanda Wood.[more]
