Don was for many years a member of an investment club and enjoyed following the stock market. He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers; rock and roll, pop and jazz music of the 50's, 60's and 70's; and performing maintenance on his cars, fixing things around his home, and otherwise putting his design and engineering skills to use. Don had a great sense of humor with a wise-cracking wit and a hearty laugh (he finally slipped on that banana peel, as he would have said with a wink and a smile). He possessed a kind and gentle heart and a protectiveness of and devotion to those he loved. He will be missed and remembered for the good times.
