Rev. Theodore A. Youngquist

Age 92. Died October 2, 2015, of bone cancer. An ordained Lutheran pastor since 1946, he served five churches, including Mt. Zion, Wauwatosa '79-'86; assisted many congregations and volunteered at Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Hospital, West Allis. Survivors include wife Marion, son Eric (Barbara), daughters Marcia Hunter, Margaret (Steve) Fleming, and Mary Ellen Karalis; grandchildren--Kevin (Rachel) and Kirk (Joanna) Mattson; Nicole and Will Fleming; Jeffrey and Melissa Karalis; five great grandchildren--Brittany, Ashley, Marion, Trudie Mattson and Joe Svihel. Memorial events include a visitation on Monday October 5, beginning at 4:00 PM; a Time of Remembrance will start at 5:00 PM, with a meal to follow. Christian funeral on Tuesday, October 6, at 10:30 AM. All events will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1750 North Calhoun Road, Brookfield. Internment will be later. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Calvary Lutheran Church Endowment Fund--Brookfield; Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Lutheran College Scholarship Fund, Zilber Hospice Center-Wauwatosa, or charity of choice.
