ith her friend John, volunteering at soup kitchens, making dolls for children fighting cancer, visiting with neighbors and friends, and working outside in the yard pulling weeds. Opal's life and legacy are nothing short of extraordinary. She put love and kindness into every aspect of her life and lived that way until the end. Opal is greatly missed and survived by her son Fred, his wife Diane, and her two grandchildren Katie and Michael. She will also be greatly missed by her main caregiver of the last three years, Flossie, as well as all the friends and neighbors she left behind.
