Joined his loving wife of 51 years, Anna (nee Rumpler) on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the age of 90. Dear father of John G. (Lynn) Kling and Eva (Rick) Rahn. Loving grandfather of John A. (Sarah Kastern) Kling, Shannon (Chris) Parks, Marty Rahn and Rachel Rahn. Loving great-grandfather of Christina (Eddie) Chavez, Sydni and Harper Parks. Loving great-great-grandfather of Adalyn Chavez. Further survived by sister Eva (Martin) Dorn and sister-in-law Gisela Kling of Germany. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives in the US, Germany, and Hungary. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Kling, sister Margaret, and brother Georg. Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin on Sunday, October 11, 2015, 4PM-7PM. A Vigil Service at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, October 12, 2015, 10AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 6000 West Loomis Road, Greendale. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. John was a long time member of the United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee. He retired from Harnishchfeger Corp. (Joy Global) in 1992.
