John H. Murphy

On Thursday October 8, 2015, John H. Murphy of Plantation, Florida passed away at Broward Health Center, he was 64. Born in Joplin, Missouri to the late John I. "Jack" and Katherine Behrens Murphy. Mr. Murphy has been a resident of South Florida for over 40 years. He is survived by his uncle, Henry A. Behrens and cousins, Otto (Jay) and Dalene Behrens and their children Keith and Catherine, William Read (Dianne), Elizabeth Read, Adair Larkin (Keith) and their children, James and Andrew, Kenneth Cranston (Carol) and their children, Amy and Ian, Harriett Shriver, David Cranston (Becky), Henry Cranston (Beth) and their children, Annie and Elyse, Scott Behrens (Darbra), Steve Behrens, Jr. and Jeff Behrens. Friends may call on Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 noon at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie, Florida 33324. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale.
