Betty J. (Borneman) Wickham, 84, of Dumont, Iowa, was born the daughter of Mary and Fred C. Borneman in Butler County on June 18, 1931. She attended Madison #3 country school and graduated from Dumont High School in 1949.
Betty was united in marriage with Raymond Wickham on September 26, 1950, in the parsonage in Ventura, Iowa, by Rev. E.M. Miller. She lived and farmed all her life south of Dumont. She was a retired farmer and a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Aredale, IA. She enjoyed embroidery and crochet, fishing in Canada, traveling in the west and collecting rocks.
Betty died peacefully on November 2, 2015, at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Evelyn Borneman and Mae Richtsmeier; and a nephew and niece, all precious to her.
