Gustavo Jose Ayala

Gustavo Jose Ayala Jr. was born on November 27, 1937 to Gustavo Sr. and Dora (Arneau) Ayala in Key West, Florida. He attended Key West Schools. On August 31, 1998 he was united in marriage to Jane (Weeks) Gustavo and Jane were blessed with 17 years together. Gustavo did various jobs throughout his lifetime. Gustavo and Jane enjoyed many motorcycle rides to Key West, Saint Augustine and all around Florida, and sixteen States; as Gustavo would say "It's all about the ride and looking good!" We enjoyed starting and ending our day in God's Word, going to church, going for walks, and talking about anything and everything. His other love was music. He loved playing the conga drums in a band in Chicago called "Guest of the Getto". It was important to spend time with his daughters, grandchildren, and friends. Whether it was "Grandpa or Gumba" that his grandkids called him, it made him smile. Gustavo died on November 9, 2015 at home in Plantation, Florida, having reached the age of 77.
