Betty J. Wehrkamp Trueblood Lea

Mrs. Betty J. Wehrkamp Trueblood Lea, 78 of Sun City, Florida, formerly of Missouri and Seymour, Indiana, died October 24, 2015, in Florida. She was born in Seymour on March 13, 1937, the daughter of the late Walter and Sylvia (Hagen) Wehrkamp, both who preceded her in death. In December of 1953, she married Doyle Trueblood and in November of 1982 she married Wallace Lea in Forsyth, Missouri, who survives in Florida. Betty was a very caring and loving person who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed her work as she was employed and retired from the USDA having worked in Indiana and Iowa. She is survived by her husband, Wallace, son, Mike (Peggy) Trueblood, two daughters, Michele Thompson and Stacey Defoor; one stepson, John (Sue) Lea, one stepdaughter, Sue Smith, five grandchildren, Carrie (Steve) Lawson, Christy Fields, Melissa Mellencamp, Tyler (Rebekah) Thompson and Travis (Sydney) Thompson; six great grandchildren, two brothers, Ronnie (Shannon) Wehrkamp and Roger (Julie) Wehrkamp; one sister, Jan Robinson, one sister-in-law, Angie Wehrkamp, and several nieces and nephews.
