Joanne Lynne Morris Davis

Joanne Lynne Morris Davis died December 19, 2015 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was born in Marietta, Ohio and raised seasonally between there and Fort Lauderdale. She attended both Pine Crest School and school in Ohio, graduating from Marietta High School. Joanne earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Library Science from Marietta College and Florida State University. She was a middle and high school Media Specialist for Broward County Schools for 36 years. Joanne Davis was a member of BCREA, (Broward County Retired Educators Association), BTU (Broward Teachers' Union), an active member of Fontenada DAR, and former member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was also an avid bridge player. Joanne attended Calvary Chapel for the past 15 years and before that the First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale. Joanne Davis was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Morris, along with her siblings David Morris and Susan Kehl.
