Merry Knitters Sewing Club. She was a charter member of the Joinerville Boat Club. "Kit" loved animals and enjoyed feeding the birds and rabbits. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and camping. Those left to honor Kathryn's memory include a daughter, Karen (Bob) Wills of Coal City, IL; 4 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert and her husband Carl, a brother Arthur, a sister Hazel, a daughter Sheila Ziemba, a granddaughter Julie Mulford, and a great-grandson Jacob Scopel. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to the First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa or to the Jackson County Humane Society.
