y. In 1959 he and Shirley made their home in Stockton where they remained throughout their 61 years of marriage. He went to work for Stevens trucking in 1969 as a fleet mechanic and continued to work there after it was sold to Erickson bakeries. Allan retired in 1993 and as he said, "enjoyed every minute of it".
Allan was a humorous and jovial kind of person. He enjoyed grilling chicken, dining out, family gatherings, and just spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a skilled mechanical who paid attention to detail and could fix almost anything. He was a great father who passed on his patience, skill, and knowledge to his children. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his four children, Karen Blaser of Rochester, David (Deb) Mueller of Stockton, Don (Cindy "Bert") Mueller of Danville, IN, and Tammy (Lee) Potter of Stockton, nine grandchildren; Shane Long, Ben, Adam and Heather Mueller, Danielle, Courtney and Phil Mueller, Amanda (Kadin) Harmening and Michelle (Andrew) VanLoon and great-grandchildren; Ailayah Mueller, Alivia Mueller, Janelle, Julian, and Jackson Parsley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; brothers, Norman, Willard, Elmer; sisters, Hilde Cathelyn, Ester Mueller, Delores Mueller
Services for Allan will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May, 1st 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church in Stockton with the Reverend Matthew Lorfeld officiating. Visitation will take place 5-8 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview and one hour prior to the service at the church. Allan will be laid to rest at Lewiston Public Cemetery.
