Betty L. Lear

Betty Louise Lear (Neill) passed away January 13, 2016.Born September 27,1925 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Betty was predeceased by (The love of her life) husband, Les and her son Robert. Survivors are her daughter and best friend Linda Zinkil and son in law Chuck Zinkil of Ormond Beach,FL., her two loving grandsons, Brian Zinkil (Trish) of Charlotte, NC and Greg Zinkil (Melissa) of Boynton Beach, FL and her adored great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Gavin and Declan. Betty lived an adventure filled life, was an avid golfer and a sports enthusiast. She lived in the Pine Island Ridge community for over thirty years, had many wonderful friends and was loved by all. Betty was a truly amazing human being, articulate, intelligent, loving, compassionate and caring. She will be missed by all who had the honor to have known her. Our family will host a Celebration of Life at Pine Island Ridge Country Club, Saturday January 30, 2016 from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the Salvation Army. [more]
