atholic Church in Bancroft. Chuck's life was very faith centered. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, trapping, and trap shooting. He also enjoyed bowling, coin collecting, traveling, and going to the Casino. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the McKinnon American Legion Post # 377. Charles Ingalls Sr. died Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Ethel Ingalls of Bancroft; nine children and their families; daughter Charlotte (Allan) Kramer of Bancroft and their four children, Keith and Penny Kramer (Grace), Dawn Green (Kaelin and Keegan), Karin Kramer and Krista Kramer; daughter Theresa (David) Kramer of Leland; son John (Sheila) Ingalls of Algona and their two children Jacob and Lucas; son Jim (Jeanne) Ingalls of Bancroft and their two children Ashley and Tony Laubenthal (Hadyn, Ava, Gavin, and Emma) and Alicia (Mike Hammond) Ingalls (Jada, Chase, Spencer, and Landyn); son Chuck (Maureen) Ingalls of Bancroft and their three children, Elizabeth (Eric) Reimers, Stephanie (fiancé Andy Kollasch) and Sarah; daughter Denise (Kenneth) Norem of Goldfield and their two children Arianna (fiancé Dakota Broderick) and Alec; son Paul (Dana) Ingalls of Bancroft and their three children Megan, Joseph, and Evan; son Arthur (Jacki) Ingalls of Bancroft and their four children Autumn and Blayne Magdefrau (Caden), Abigail (Brett) Beadle, Alexandra and Annamarie; and daughter Elaine (David) Foster of Bancroft and their four children, Joshua, Macie, Norma and Robert. He is also survived by Ethel's son, Jeff (Darci) Nemmers of Fort Dodge, and their children Jeff Jr., Trey, Maddie, and John. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Norma; an infant son Joseph; an infant brother, Arthur; and a sister Bernice (Raymond) Distworth.
