Barbara L. Greene

Barbara Louise (Landry) Greene died on February 2, 2016 at the age of 72, after a battle with cancer. Barbara was born May 8, 1943, Green Bay, to Brad and Bernie Landry. She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1961. Barbara worked at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for 25 years in the Admissions and Counseling Department. She married Charles (Pete) Greene in 1963. Pete died at just 25 leaving Barbara to raise their 3 children. She was an amazing, devoted and proud mother who provided her children with love and knowledge. Vernon Bero became her special friend in 2007. Barbara was blessed to have a wonderful, close family and a lot of close friends in Green Bay and Golf Shores, Alabama where she and Vern spent the winter months. She is preceded in death by her parents Brad and Bernie Landry, her husband Charles (Pete) Greene and her special friend Vernon Bero. Leurquin, Amy (Chris) Larson, and Crystal (Tim) Winter, and her sister Sue (Phil) Young, Green Bay, and their children Randy (Kristi) & Craig (Aleta) Young and Stacy (Sam) Baynes. She is also survived by Vernon's children Lynn (Vern) Doxtator, DePere; Vernon "Bud" Bero, Jr., Green Bay; Mike (Barb) Bero, Green Bay; Holly (Dave Schaetz) Bero, Green Bay; and Tom (Lana) Bero, Marinette. A celebration of Barb's life will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay.
