est of her sons were born in Emmetsburg. She and Dwight farmed until Dwight's death in 1975. Agnes continued to live independently on the farm for nearly 40 more years. Along the way she became a 50-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, part of the Palo Alto County Auxiliary, an avid and fierce Bridge and 500 player. She was a proud member of the Palo Alto County Garden Club, a Master Gardener, RSVP member, adult education teacher, and a stellar seamstress and sewing instructor for her granddaughters. Ever the trailblazer, she became the first female Realtor in Emmetsburg. Her curiosity and adventurous spirit led to her to travel to much of Europe, Mexico, Australia, Alaska, a few islands in the South Pacific, and of course the Holy Land. A visit with Agnes was seldom dull with her plethora of extraordinary experiences, a quick wit and even quicker laugh. Agnes was generous, bold and honest. She was an amazing sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Agnes is preceded in death by her Husband Dwight (1975) and two sons, Larry Joseph (1942) and Quay Edward (1946), Brothers Jim, Edward, Gene and his wife Donna.
