Helen B. O'Dea, 91, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at her home in Hampton, Iowa. She was born November 11, 1924, in rural Franklin County, Iowa, to John and Bertha (Wiener) Dohlman. Helen graduated from Aredale High School. She worked at several jobs throughout the country before returning to the area in 1962. She then worked in the Franklin County Treasurer's office before being elected the Franklin County Clerk of Court in 1973 where she worked until her retirement. Helen was a member of the West Fork United Methodist Church in Sheffield, Iowa. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Helen was a caretaker of the family and always made sure that all family members were notified and informed about any and all family events. Of utmost importance within her life were her faith, family and friends. She is survived by a sister-in-law Alice Dohlman of Hampton and numerous nieces and nephews.
