Linda Darlene (Baker) Phillips, oldest child of Earl Lawrence and Alma Darlene (Rine) Baker, was born June 26, 1949 in Shenandoah, Iowa. She entered Heaven on March 5, 2016.
She spent her early childhood years in Shenandoah and graduated with the Shenandoah High School class of 1967. In June of 1974, Linda married Carl F. Phillips in Shenandoah. The couple resided in Hamburg and Sidney until their divorce in August of 1996.
Her working career allowed her to gain experience in bookkeeping, banking and medical transcription, having had jobs at Henry Field's Nursery & Seed Company, Iowa State Bank, Shenandoah Medical Center, Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Timothy Fursa at Shenandoah Doctors Clinic and most recently typing for Myers Typing Service. She a member of the First Baptist Church of Shenandoah.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother A. Darlene Baker in October of 2005 and father Earl L. Baker in November of 2012.

Burial will be held at the Old Memory Cemetery in rural New Market, Iowa.
