Edward W. Ihlenfeld

Born October 12, 1920, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2016. Beloved father of Christy (Bill) Breihan, Gayle Ihlenfeld (Jeanette Paulson) and Scott Ihlenfeld (Diane Yokes.) Adored grandpa of Leah (Dave) Stauber and Ava (Danny) Holdmann, Adam, Aaron and Teddy Breihan, Srivalli Paulson Ihlenfeld and Sitara Ihlenfeld Paulson and great grandpa of Ella Holdmann. Further survived by his niece Sherry Aman, nephew James Schuh and sister-in-law Bernice Koepp and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 58 years, Carol Ihlenfeld. Visitation at Covenant Lutheran Church, 8121 West Hope Avenue, Thursday, March 17, 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral Service 7:00 PM. Burial Wisconsin Memorial Park. Edward was a decorated WWII veteran and retired Milwaukee Police Detective. He will be remembered for his quick wit, gentle spirit and love of family.
