Mary Kathryn Lindquist

Mary Ambrose Lindquist, 84, of Webster City, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Van Diest Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Mary Kathryn Anderson, the daughter of Henry and Katie Koop Anderson was born on July 7, 1931 in Randall. She graduated from Kamrar Schools. She married Russell Edward Ambrose on March 5, 1950 in Jewell. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1993. Mary was employed as a telephone operator and later owned and operated the Lakeview Motel in Clear Lake. After moving to Webster City, she managed the Newcastle Inn. Mary married Fritz Lindquist on December 10, 1998 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2004. nderson of Webster City, Elaine (Ron) Olson of Nevada, Franklin (Sue) Anderson of Wisconsin, and special friend, Dick Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member of the 1948 State Champion Kamrar Komets. They were the first ever national girl's basketball champions and the only Hamilton County team to have ever brought home a national crown. This Komet has returned to heaven.
