Died unexpectedly Monday, March 21, 2016 at the age of 91. Clarence Was WWII Veteran, serving in the Americal Infantry Division, April 1943 to December 1945. Participated in battles in the Solomon Islands, Phillipine Islands. Received a Purple Heart on an assault in the Philippines. Stationed in Yokohama, Japan. Became a pilot in 1954, owned a Piper Cherokee and built 2 airplanes, a Skybolt and a Baby Ace. Retired from Delco Electronics.
