d ornaments. He and Harriet were in charge of the Graettinger Labor Day Parade for 30 plus years. They enjoyed going to their Silver Ridge home in Mesa, AZ for the winter for nearly 30 years. He would spend his days there in the woodworking shop where he made many bowls, clocks and tables. More than anything, Richard liked to play cards, visit with friends in the wood shop and spend time with his family. On Monday, April 18, 2016, Richard passed away at the Hilltop Nursing Home in Spirit Lake, IA. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Harriet of Ruthven; daughter, Jackie Holm (Tim) of Cable, WI and his two children: Lisa Natywa (Jeff) and Michelle Holm; three sons: Paul Duhn of Graettinger, his daughter, Karen Kuper (special friend, Trinity) and her two children: Ali and Abby; Bruce Duhn (Barb) of Correctionville, IA, and her two children: Tyler and Stevey; Brad Duhn of Graettinger (special friend, Michele); brother, Raymond Duhn (Evonne); two sisters, Betty Kane (Jim) and Rosalie Hoyt; brothers and sisters-in-law: Edmund Herke, George Tonderum, Larry Herke (Sheila) and Mary Lane Cunningham. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Walter and Ronald Duhn; sister, Dorothy Sjecklocha; niece, Teresa Duhn and nephew, Mervin Hoyt.
