Imogene L. Furman, 82, of Bradford, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa. She was born on November 15, 1933, in Hardin County, Iowa, to John and Kate (Hoodjer) Harms. Imogene attended Iowa Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Dale V. Furman on November 6, 1951, at the Little Brown Church. Imogene worked alongside her husband at Furman Trucking Business. She was a member of the Bradford United Methodist Church. Imogene enjoyed quilting, playing cards, auctions, camping and cooking for her family, specializing in peach cobbler. She was an animal lover; caring for and nurturing orphaned animals. Imogene is survived by her son Michael (Barb) Furman and children Travis (Suli), Traci (Matt) and Megan (Jesse), son Mark Furman and children Jesse (Lisa), Jason and Hannah, daughter Marcia Uthe and children Casey and Lana, daughter Melinda Sanchez and children Tommy and Krista, twenty great-grandchildren, along with sisters, brothers, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
