Rebecca Kay Speth

Rebecca Kay James Speth, 62, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of New London, IA, passed away May 10, 2016 at her home. > She was born October 18, 1953 in Centerville, IA to Jack and JoAnn Medland James. She was a 1971 graduate of New London High School and a member of the New London Presbyterian Church. Becky worked in the medical profession in Iowa, Texas and in Indianapolis where she was an independent contractor working in the life insurance sector. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed selling her crafts at Old Threshers. She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Speth, Indianapolis, two daughters, Erica Hahn and Nicole Hahn, her mother JoAnn James of Salem, IA and one grandson, Spencer Hahn. She was preceded in death by her father and sister JoEllen Bires. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday May 14th at Flanner and Buchanan Speedway Funeral Center. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Elliott Chapel, New London. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association. [more]
