Dr. Robert W. Scott, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away June 4, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Robert was born in Cleveland, OH on May 7, 1951 to Howard and Dolores (Wallace) Scott. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and went on to specialize in Cardiology. He was a member of Hillcrest Country Club, American Heart Association, and the American College of Cardiology. Robert worked for Eli Lilly from 1988 to 2002, Miravent from 2002 to 2005, and was the Chief Medical Officer at Anaclim, LLC. from 2005 to the present. In January of this year, Robert was made The Associate Dean and Director for Diversity Programs from the I U School of Medicine.
Dr. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Marta Alvarez Scott, their three children, Matthew, Simone, and Sarah Ann; his nephew, Lerozo Campbell; mother, Dolores Scott; brother, Walter Scott; sister, Diane Campbell; and niece, Brea Campbell. Robert was preceded in death by his father.
