Paul Steffen

Paul Edwin Steffen, DVM, 83, of Westfield, IN passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006. He was born April 6, 1923 in Parma, OH to the late Elmer and Flora (Vormelker) Steffen. Dr. Steffen owned and operated the Westfield Animal Clinic and DRS Morgan Horse Farm. He was a member of the American Veterinary Assoc., Indiana Veterinary Assoc., Central Indiana Veterinary Assoc., a charter member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a charter member of the Westfield Indiana Chamber of Commerce. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, June 26 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Friends may visit with the family Sunday, June 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Rd., Carmel. Dr. Steffen is survived by his wife, Julia T. (Stevens) Steffen; children, Victor (Joella) Steffen, Valerie Steffen, Mark Steffen, and Bridget (Jeff) Burns; sister, Carol Pauley; brother, Elmer (Marjorie) Steffen; grandchildren, Megan Joel, Brandon, and Graham Steffen, Simon and Tiffany Burns.
