Norman E. Parshall, 81, of Indianapolis, died December 10, 2006. Norman was born March 7, 1925 in Richmond, IN to the late Benona H. and Olive Pearl Rothermel Parshall. Norman attended Purdue University and graduated with a Master?s Degree. On August 5, 1950 he married Catherine Gardner Parshall, a loving union that lasted for over 56 years. He worked for Allison Gas Turbine in Indianapolis as a Project Engineer for 37 years retiring in 1985. He served in the United States Naval Reserve until 1952. His memberships included the Knights of Columbus, Triangle Fraternity, Laughing Squares and the American Legion Kennington Post 34. Norman and his wife enjoyed many years of square dancing, golf and travel. Survivors include his wife; their children, Steven (Mundy) Parshall of Houston, TX., Patricia (David) Eddleman, Margaret (William) Green and Nancy (David) Weyl of Oswego, IL; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Elmer Parshall; two sisters, M. Frances Thurston and Wilma Thomas.
