Death is the golden key that opens the place of eternity thus Mrs. Eva Lee Williams Glass entered the place of eternity, Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the West GA Medical Center, LaGrange, GA.
Eva was born June 21, 1930 to the parentage of the late Elijah and Sophia Williams in Harris County, GA. She was the youngest of five children.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the St. John Baptist Church, West Point, GA. After moving to Atlanta, she united with the North Avenue Baptist Church. After retirement, Eva moved back to Lanett, AL and reunited with her home church, St. John.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Fred Glass. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dwayne Glass and LaVonn Reed.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Frederick Glass, Riverdale, GA; six grandchildren, LaVone Reed, Jr., Atlanta, GA; Frederick Glass, Jr., Ansley Mitchell, Jabari Glass, Amia Glass, Atlanta, GA; Monique Mormon, Goochland, VA; a former daughter-in-law, Annette Benefield, Atlanta, GA, one sister in law, Josephine Millbrook, Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
